I just got my fresh Motor Trend in the mail. These are interesting times for the automotive world. FIAT is coming back. But more importantly, China now buys more cars than we do. Which leads to three things:
People will remember what a FIAT is.
China is the new center-of-gravity for the auto world, which means that small engines in light cars are back for good.
Demand and price of gas will shoot through the roof!!!!
All these things mean that the X1/9 (which I've said all along was ahead of it's time) will have a growing new interest. Values will climb for the cool looking Fiat that get's 35 mpg.
I say keep your Fiat/Bertone, take care of it, and it will be one of your best investments.
