Progress report engine DL WARNING!

Put together most of the engine this weekend Here are some pics...The Block..[/URL[URL="http://img117.imageshack.us/my.php?image=block4.jpg"]]Now on to the inards...Crank installed..Pistons installed..EGR Plug..Piston Torqued....Oil pump and oil drain tubeThe head and oil pan should go on next weekend! Engine sealed...Head, oil pan, intake, header on.

A few minor set backs last weekend......Wrong timing belt Matt sent me the right one....Had the oil pan bead blasted.....(off the engine)Broke a manifold bolt off(it was bad broke off with mabe 3 lbs of tourqe)...had to drill and tap..( and replaced all with SS studs)....pain in the A)

I spent lots of time and trouble making sure every thing was kept super clean.....Hope it all runs....

looks good, im looking for manifold gaskets right now.. but not really, gotta take stuff apart first!

need more tape to keep that paint pretty when you are installing the engine!
