Actually, somewhere beneath all the horrible red trim is a decent Scorpion.
Too bad the deck lid will have to be welded up and repainted.
I don't think that wing is so bad. I have seen worse on X Dallara kit cars.
That said, I would remove it if I bought this car. But I wouldn't buy this car as there many to be had here in sunny and dry California - I would just to ask FIATFREAK where to find one
yeah, when you see stuff like that duct taped hose, it gives you an insight into the mentality of the work that was done on that car over the years. Why I will never buy an older car over the internet without seeing and driving it in person.
They're supposed to. They raised about an inch to meet federal headlight height requirements. They also had to raise the entire car about an 1.5" plus add the 5mph bumpers. Those molestations combined with the smog
choked engine doomed the car here in the States.
Why do they close? Because the only thing uglier than the headlights down is the headlights up..
The original styling had a nice truncated wedge nose, and trapezoidal lights. For the US market, DOT spec 7" round headlights were used, and so the slight movement was needed to raise the lights to a useful exposure.
