Right ones to use for the 1500 rebuild

These are from the 1979 1500 engine that John Edwards is rebuilding for me, so they should work with that engine but I'm unsure if they will bolt into the 1974 car. Also wondering if there are any performance considerations/alternatives that I should aware of here.

They will bolt on

All the manifolds interchange at the head, 1300 or 1500.

Sure they will fit, but from a performance perspective you have chosen about the worst possible from all the stock manifolds available.

Well that is how I roll.... Actually these are what came with the parts buy, and this is exactly why I asked. Appreciate the info Steve.

I'll try to track down the Euro intake and a better exhaust/header (so much for this being a cheap build - grin).

...not suited for use on an X.
Due to different engine angles.
Exhaust manifold should be fine.
