Some of the pics are kinda large, but the thumbnails will load quickly. There were a total of 5 X's in the show, my rustbucket, Alisoun's black Bertone 1500, her first Red X (sold last year), a gold 79 from California, and a red one for sale. Plus one not entered which is primered and ready for paint. lots of spiders, only one Alfa, 2 scorpions, a couple zagato's, a nice 31 lancia, and a ford powered La..la..umm...4x4. I would have liked more Seattle X1/9 cars there, but...oh well...

I got there about 8 in the morning, only about 4 cars there and by 9 there were 20-30 cars, and more coming in. Saw people I had not seen in at least a year, good stories, good food (pancake breakfast) and beautiful weather. Wish I could have taken off work and had a non-overheating car that I could have run the two rallyes in from thursday to saturday. I would have liked to have more Xs there....I am thinking about putting together a little deal later this summer for Seattle X1/9....we'll see...

In any case, I feel like an ass for missing it, I can't speak for fellow SeaXers, as I did send out more than one group mailing notifying of the event in advance and providing contacts. I surely won't miss the next one AND in an effort to make good on my absence I am plugging the bejeezus out of FENs involvement at the upcoming Seattle Concourso - I will be there (unless new job prevents it but it shouldn't at this point) and I am hoping to see as much SeaX participation there (either as spectators or for display) as possible to show support for FEN as well as to show all those "other" Italian marques who's really getting the most bang for their buck out of Italy!!
