I am in need of the long and short speedo cables for my 86 X

I'm pretty sure the long one is available from most of the US vendors. I got mine from Midwest-Bayless. Last I checked the only source for the short one was here:

Is the price correct on your site? The long cable on your site is $54 but $233 for the short cable. Even with exchange and shipping the short one from the UK would be about $30.

Yes, the price is correct.
The company that makes the short cable for me charges a lot of money for their services! That's why I only do it on an as needed basis.
