Sunday wrenching...

Just spent a couple of hours of quality time with the Budget Scorpion.

First was a late Beta cigar lighter to replace the one that came with the car. In addition to being clean and new, it's not as deep, so my widgets will be able to use it as a power socket. Think map light, phone and ipod chargers, you
know, the necessities.

Then I took the oil pressure warning light switch out of my spare engine and swapped it into the car. For some reason the new one that was in there failed open. I suppose there's no warranty on those things.

Then I had to diagnose a no-start. Chased my tail for about 15 minutes until I saw the coil signal wire for the ECU had been knocked off the coil terminal, just like it was a factory F.I. car. :)
