swapping carby for FI

After finding my thrust bearing was grinding away my block and crank shaft I found a part car with a FI stripped out the car of all Electrical wiring and everything that had to do with the FI but the gas tank was crush in on the bottom of the tank I left it in the car and using the old tank. What fuel pump did you use? Where did you mount the fuel pump? Any other issues should I be aware of? Thanks for all you help

FI conversion

You can use a carb fuel tank for FI conversion...many have done it. Get the factory pump if you can, and mount it wherever seems reasonable.

Other than that you'll have to run power to the dual relay, but everything else is pretty much bolt on. Use the FI exhaust downpipe or weld a bung to your exhisting one for the 02 sensor.
