Rock slide

Apparently a rock-slide has blocked part of it, and it will be opened up again.

I gotta ask...Dave, have you ever taken your 308 on the dragon?

We could still do the Cherehala Skyway. A fun drive but nothing like the Dragon. My guess is that they will get it cleared up sooner than expected.

Have you driven the Cherehala? It is an amazing drive. Not the same as the Dragon but much more scenic, less tight turns, more long sweepers.

Only driven this road one time, and that was in my 79 Spider 2000. It was a nice enough drive in that car, but all the time I was telling my buddy (who was my passenger) that this would sure be a way better deal if we were in my X!

Just in case....

We'll keep the Cherehala in our back pocket. A few of us took a drive up this past weekend to test a couple roads and found the Blue Ridge Parkway closed just below Asheville too. The NCDOT and TNDOT have a lot of work to do!
