tapping from engine at cold

Hi folks,

Noticed something new with my engine now when I start it up. I can hear a tapping sound, sounds like valves maybe? I think it goes away after the engine warms up some.

Was wondering if there was anything I should look at.

Check the valve shim clearances, but it may be within spec. Mine is, and sounds a bit like a sewing machine until it's warmed up.
