Or not. This article is interesting not because of the 'Flying Car' per se, but because of the writer's general point about the real pace and goals of technological progress. I think he is being a bit reductive and seriously narrow in his field of view, but there is a certain validity to the main theme that for all our advances life hasn't really changed all that dramatically in, say, my or Dave Potts' lifetime. The article reminded me of a quote read a few weeks ago that was something like "...We were going to Mars and the galaxies and we settled for 140 characters on Twitter..." That's where tech had actually taken us, not further from our earthbound and personality bound reality but deeper into it.:confuse2:
