I am looking for a 2nd gear NOS or new with 43 teeth.
Has someone got one? or know where I can find one?
My car hasn't worked for 3 month and I'm getting mad.....:dead:

This part should be available in France. The transaxle internals is not specific to the x1/9. It was used in FIAT Ritmo, Uno and others.. check with your FIAT spares supplier.

Doesn't Matter

All X1/9 2nd gears are interchangeable. Regardless if they are 4 speeds or 5 speeds.

2nd gear should be an easy part to source.

You would think it's easy, but I had trouble finding it as well. When I DID find it, it was $200. I replaced mine because the syncro surface was burnt beyond spec and the new syncro wouldn't grab. It may be that so many have had this repair that the stocks of gears has dwindled.
