I have a 1976 Fiat X1/9 that I bought new . It is in beautiful condition and has been maintained by the same mechanic since the day that I bought it. I need to place a value on it for my insurance company, and there are nothing but a few beat up old X1/9,s around here, so I have nothing to compare it to. I paid full coverage for years and when my X was wrecked I was offered 1,800 dollars and the option to buy back my own car from the insurance company. My 85 had 32,000 miles on the clock and was perfect. After many phone calls and heated arguments with my agent I finally got it fixed. I had to find my own donar car and without the help of a great manager at MAACO I would have lost my car. Get things complety straight with your agent before wasting money on full coverage.
