On the K&N unless I punch a hole in it. I purchased a Carank Case vent filter, and attached it to the hose, but it sure spits out a lot of fumes. Am I doomed to have this or am I just going to have to punch the hole in the filter housing?<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Air goes in, and excess blow-by comes out. The alternative is to make the necessary hole in the base of the air filter, and hook the vent hose there.. your choice
