In search of the bottom half of a JO/EL Engineering Fiat 850 9-quart alloy split sump. I have the upper main section, just need the lower baffled "pan" section. This sump looks like this:
I know John had at least 2 of these in his shop just before he passed away - I have the top half of one of those. I was hoping to maybe track the bottom part down from the recent Costa Mesa R&D Automotive clearance auctions, but the company that ran the auctions will not divulge any buyer info from the items they sold. From the photos I saw, a lot of the car parts (both Fiat & non-Fiat) got separated amongst the various lots. In the Fiat community, it's often one of those "Six Degrees of Separation" situations, where someone knows someone who's friends with a guy...long shot: Does anyone here know any of those buyers?
