What parts do I need?

It's time to be thinking about putting the Yugo back on the road. It hasn't been on the road in about 2 years.

It needs new wheel bearings and tie-rod ends according to the alignment specialists at Sears. Which I believe them due to the roaring sound it makes.

10 years ago I pressed the wheel bearings in wrong and they failed prematurely. This time I'm thinking about just taking the hubs to a shop I trust and have them remove and replace them. Getting the inner race off the axle stub is a PITA.

My wife had some Ebay bucks to burn so she bought me new wheel bearings before the end of last year. So I already have them.

I have some NOS 128 tie-rods. Will these fit the steering rack and hub on a Yugo? Or is it like the motor mounts and control arms that have use different size fasteners and have to be modified to fit?

The inner axle boots are leaking oil. So I am going to order new axle boots while I have the drive shafts out.

Concerning the wheel bearings. What other parts do I need or can be recycled? I remember there is thin lock nut that supposedly requires a special tool but I used a large flathead screwdriver and hammer to unscrew the old ones and install the new ones.

Is there a dust seal involved or does the locknut double as the seal? I can't remember.

Oh yeah. New axle nuts.

By the way. One time I used Lock-Tite instead of stacking the nut. I had to put enough leverage on the nut the tire was spinning against my concrete floor. This make me wonder if using Lock-tite is just as good as stacking the nut.
