Hi Kids:

I have the opportunity to pick up some 13x7 wheels for a good price, but they are 5" backspace....

Anyone ever run a 13x7 with 5"backspace in an x with stock diameter springs and /or with 2.5 diameter coilovers?

Hey Kevin,

That sounds like a Honduh wheel. 5" is common on those, you sure about the bolt circle?

5" is gonna be pretty deep on the X. I doubt they will clear the rear toe link arm off the upright. That's what will hit first. The front may be OK.

One thing I noticed when running really deep backspace wheels on an X is the steering got heavier the more backspace I ran.

These are a redrilled set of wheels being run by a spider guy. Not sure what the came off of, but was hoping it would make a good set of "rain" tire wheels.

I'll keep looking.

i have 4" of backspace and they BARELY fit around the rear knuckle where the rear toe arms attach, if i had any thicker tape weights they would get scrapped off
