who was towing a scorpion on I-5 southbound on 6/12/22

we were heading home from Portland yesterday at breakneck speeds in the GTI and we're nearing the rest stop at Corning around 6PM and I say "holy sht that's a scorpion!" on a trailer pulling into the rest stop. if I had been literally seconds closer I would have darted off the freeway with you to say hi!

it happened so fast, I couldn't even take a picture. it was a series 1 and appeared to be either silver or a pale blue/silver

This may have been an individual who bought one in California without an engine or transmission in it. I forget his name he bought his around the same time as mine, was it a 77?
