This morning, I installed the manual regulator as a replacement to my power regualtor (the motor is weak, and the cable is shot). The offset on the manual one is slightly shallower, but it does not seem to affect it in any way.

Now to adjust (is there a trick to this?), and grease it all, put the door panel back on, and forget all about it!

I finally got it and it works great...the routing in the "factory manual" was not right. The cable coming off the take-up drum from the down direction goes on the roller directly below the motor, the one that is adjustable and then to the lower roller near the opening end of the door.

The cable coming off the top of the take-up drum goes to the roller above the motor and down to the lower roller near the door jam end of the door.

The rest of the picture is correct...maybe the manual only shows the routing for manual windows.

Hope this helps....
