The problem is in the switches. They develop a high resistance from running the whole motor load (around 20amps). 4 relays and a small wiring birdsnest should have your windows rocketing up!

Also i had to use the glass channel of a CITROEN BX and bolt it to the fitting on the cable of the mech after drilling it and some holes in the channel to match.
The fitting on the cable is tiny! like a FIAT UNO one that holds the glass on. The fitting is plastic with metal behind it, took ages to get that bit of plastic off!
You'll also have to bond your window glass into the channel, i used bath sealent or silicone would do.
I also had to chisel every bit off broken glass out of my BX channel! Theres another day gone!!
Finally i used BX e/w switches and fitted them in my armrests by tracing around switch and cutting with stanley knife.

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial]<!-- google_ad_section_start -->I have the wireless type in my 1989 car and they are STILL slow. The good news is that the fix is pretty easy (well, would you believe....).
The problem is in the switches. They develop a high resistance from running the whole motor load (around 20amps). 4 relays and a small wiring birdsnest should have your windows rocketing up!

I would try the cable/relais fix first. If this doesn't work I have another option. Rumours say that the rear window regulators of older Opel Omegas are they same (BUT I can't confirm this).

Also i had to use the glass channel of a CITROEN BX and bolt it to the fitting on the cable of the mech after drilling it and some holes in the channel to match.
The fitting on the cable is tiny! like a FIAT UNO one that holds the glass on. The fitting is plastic with metal behind it, took ages to get that bit of plastic off!
You'll also have to bond your window glass into the channel, i used bath sealent or silicone would do.
I also had to chisel every bit off broken glass out of my BX channel! Theres another day gone!!
Finally i used BX e/w switches and fitted them in my armrests by tracing around switch and cutting with stanley knife.
