Hi all. So, despite the list of things to do to my X1/9 being quite long, one has taken precedence over the last couple of months. I must admit, most of my motivation comes from not wanting to do a head gasket replacement due to an overheat. My old and Italian cooling system is barely holding...

I'm building right now a Fiat Uno mk2 sx for a rally. Engine bore and stroke is 80.5x67.4 I want to replace injection for bike carbs, put x1/9 1500 euro spec cam, 39.5 intake valves, make a new 4-1 header, skim and polish the head. The question is how light should be a flywheel to keep some torque?

A little late as the build is underway already. I picked up a low Km 1979 in August. It had been off the road for 15 or so years but is a solid car with almost no rust. Only where there are scratches. The paint is in need of a respray and will be done in Porsche Mexico Blue to kind of brighten...
