128 coupe front struts

Further on my rear X struts on the front of a 128 wagon/sedan misstep, do I understand correctly that front struts from a 128 coupe (SL and 3P) could also properly lower the front of a wagon? And if so, I could use X rear springs?

Never mind

Just read on the earlier discussion that SL and sedan front struts are the same. Apparently the SL springs are shorter and are 7 coils, which is pretty much what X rear springs are.

128 coupe top spring perch / bump stop assembly is the one you want to use. Rear leaf is flatter too, and the rear struts have the lower mount about 8/9mm further up the strut tube.
