1976 Scorpion rebuild

Agnelli

True Classic
After patiently waiting a full year, an 84 year old Italian-American and his wife arrived at the garage with an SUV full of boxes, jars, and coffee cans.

Containing a disassembled engine for aforementioned green on tan 26,000 original mile Scorpion that has been dead in a garage since 1994, apparently due to a blown valve. When asked if the configuration was stock or did it have a turbo or other modifications he says:

"Just a Supercharger with Nitrous"

Quote of the day, for sure.

Question for you all: since we are in California, does anyone have all the appropriate emissions parts? Those are long gone, and the goal is to turn it back to a stock legal runner.

Thanks in advance, please shoot me a PM if you've got a the gear or a source.

I can pull the not-hooked-up charcoal canister

from my 76 and send it to you for shipping costs. I don't think I have any emissions parts besides that.

Pete

Thanks Pete!

Will get back to you on that. Searching for original documentation outlining the whole smog system on a '76 CA car.

There's an electric solenoid for one of the vacuum lines, probably one of those idle-up between 3rd and 4th gear things. I pulled it from mine and you can have it if you need it.
