My '74 has a single post squirter. What is the best way to remove it? I have some surface rust and need to get in there.

My '74 has a single post squirter. What is the best way to remove it? I have some surface rust and need to get in there.

It has a threaded shaft, and there's a nut on the underside.
If I recall correctly, you get at the nut from the cowl opening where the brake and clutch reservoirs live.
(But it might be with a socket on a long extension from behind the heater box).
