I usually lurk here, but I've decided to step out from the shadows for this one. I'm about to fix some holes in the floor pans of my 81 X. I have the MIG welder and a good helmet, but I'd like to know what you've all found to be the best, easiest way to make nice, clean, straight cuts in the sheetmetal. I've seen averything from nibblers to plasma cutters to angle grinders and sawzall's. I'm new to bodywork, so please forgive if I sound like an idiot. What works best for you?

Plasma cutters are nice but you need a steady hand.
The sawsall method I would use as a last resort, you can actually get better results with tin snips.
I have done alot of body work and have used all of these methods. Hell I've even used a jig saw at one point. The important thing is TAKE YOUR TIME, do a good job. In body work the time you spend will show the results.
