Air Dam:
Anyone out there familiar with the maker of the rubber-like air dam that Mike Mittelstead has on the front of his car? He's not sure who made it either. I love the look and would eventually like to do that to mine.
Forum Archiving:
Are there older archives than the 15 pages available on Network54? Seems like alot of valuable information could be dropping off the end and disappearing forever! (5-speed 101 is only 5 pages away from starting to disappear). Anyone have something like Web Whacker that could download the whole site for archiving? Mac, do you have the ability to backup the whole site as the admin?

About the front spoiler, I have not seen MM's yet so I am afraid I have no idea. MM? Got a pic of that puppy floating around on the web?
As for the site archives, don't worry, the 15 pages you see actually do go back all the way to the founding of the forum, and they don't drop off at all, the archives just keep getting bigger.
Meaning, we won't lose page 15 when it's time for everything to "fall off", it just becomes a new number, page 16... and so on.
I think that in the future we will definitely have to work out a better (searchable, more efficient) forum/archiving scenario, but for the time being this seems to be doing okay...
Nothing has ever been lost from the archives except things that have been deliberately deleted (see faq) or the rare one-time episode of the server crash, where a few days worth of posts were lost, which fortunately none were of critical measure, (just general BS if I recall) and that event shook 'em up there at N54. I think they are doing pretty well these days with their backups...
You're right though, it ain't gonna fly forever. But for now, it will at least not be having things "fall off".
By the way, things actually DO fall off in the FS&W forum, but that is also deliberate. There is just no archive kept for the FS&W forum (see faq for more).
I have seen other unrelated forums running on this same software, with archived pages numbering in the hundreds (!!) that performed at least as well as this one does right now. So, at least in that respect we are not "heading for trouble" you know, except that such a massive archive in its present format would be increasigly difficult to effectively search for info... -Mac.
