I use colored bulb, lexan covers and stainless allen bolts. Here is link to picture.
I don"t have any front turn light but if I ever add they will be small and behind front radiator opening.

OE lights
I figure when Fiat brought the car to the US it had to make some changes and in most cases car companies make as little change as they need to to get the job done, so why not use the stock OE lights and mount them in the plate that is already there. Here is what I did (showing I have not cleaned the bug carcasses off the front end)
