Seems a pretty fair review. They're quite fashionable here in the UK - just like the Mini. The Abarth version will be fun.

I considered the 500 when I went shopping for a city car a couple of years ago. But - like the 'Mini' - the 500's fuel consumption was pretty disappointing. If I'm going to drive something small, it has to get very good mileage. I ended up buying an Aygo which gives me 55-60mpg no matter how I drive it.
 
Way too pricey for such a small car and a Fiat to boot. Wait for a used one and get it cheap. I think it is cool looking but no way for $15 - $19 large.
