Anyone tried these car seat covers?

Glad it worked out. Skilled upholstery guys can perform miracles. I've had them save seats that were shot, but the rest of the interior was excellent and I didn't want to replace it.

So true! It's definitely an art.

My car came to me with generic covers loosely attached over sad black leather. I got some $20 Amazon cloth covers and 'customized' them with buttons and bias tape from the fabric store (cost more than the covers) to fit my seats. All in, less than $50.
They're getting tired, fading to gray anymore, time to redo. (apologies for the leaves)
