Bertone Barchetta

There was a thread http://xwebforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/1286/ a week or two ago that had a pic of what was supposed to be an Abarth edition of the Bertone Barchetta 2007 concept car.

One poster ID'd it as a very convincing but nevertheless ethereal PhotoShop of a VW showcar.

But I did find these at Bertone's website:

I suspect the "top folds away to fit above the luggage" is a translation issue or a non technical writer writing about something that was described to them.

Although I don't love the barchetta in the pic, it was a nice design that could do well.

As for that Abarth abomination, well need I say more?
