Bertone Bravo and Marzal

Just another example of the 'all is wedge' thinking at Bertone. This apparently was in the works the same year as the baby Miura came out. Looks like Countache wheels, but I wonder what Lambo this engine was in? Hope this isn't a repost.

If you're talking about the Bravo...

...me too! Why Lambo went for the Silhouette over the Bravo when it came time to replace the Urraco one can only guess. The Bravo looks like it could sit in a new car showroom right now. From an exterior design standpoint, I always felt the Bravo was closer to what the road-going development of the Stratos Prototipo should have looked like than the eventual Stratos.
Also noticed the Bravo had a central driving position...never knew that before. Spectacular car.

Amen... And I gotta agree with...

... a lot of what Dave said also.

But look at US! Most of US are into the ANGULAR look that Bertone seems to perpetuate... and our homes, if we had our 'druthers... would look like the one in the video also.

What does seem a bit out of place to me is the SWEEPING arch of the rear wheel opening... (where have I seen THAT before??? HA!) and I must admit, it does add a FLAIR (pun intended...) but I think I would have preferred a regular radius like the front opening.

The central driving position is a GREAT design element also, kinda like the FLAIR... but so impractical off the race track. Getting in and out... to have to crawl over another seat... is kinda frustrating...

BUT... I know if I were standing there LIVE and viewing the car in PERSON for the first time, 35 years ago, or even TODAY... I'd scream out... COUNTACH!!!

HA!
