When I used to go to Woodley for the Vintage meets a few years back with my BMW 8 series club the grass was either in poor shape or non-existent. If conditions haven’t changed, bring lots of water and cleaning stuff if you intend to keep your car pristine.

^^^ I have two '80s BMWs and always attend the Vintage BMW show which is held on the Saturday before BOFI. Woodley Park would be a perfect venue for events like this except for the fact that the grounds are either a mudfest or a dustbowl, depending on how recently we've had rain. Either way, you spend a lot of time cleaning up your car afterwards. Other than that both shows are excellent and very well attended. I'll be there for both this year.

It wasn't too dusty. Most folks kept the speed on the field down.
However, it was very hot. I think a lot of people overheated, and the show wrapped up earlier than last decade norms.

My guess is from unloading it off a trailer: rear end first, angled downward on the ramps, tailpipe scraped the ground as it dripped down coming off.
