Call the Cops!

CD31 Daytonas in excellent condition have been commanding over $1000 a set in the couple of years that I have been paying attention to their availability and value.

This set also has nearly new 13" tires on them. The Sumi tires are the ones we all "love to hate" but boy the 13" tire "pickins" sure have slimmed down.

There was some talk several weeks (5-7?) ago that this set of Daytonas, which came off of a car that ended up in a car lot in Michigan for sale, were very likey originally a set owned and meticulously restored by either Olerascal or Leszieg.

If I hadn't just got done having a set of CD-58s professionally restored, I would have gone well past $1000 for them.

Deja Vu...

...as listed last May, still on low mileage X.

Then in June, wheels listed separately.
http://xwebforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/18037/

Those listings & current listing all from seller in Zeeland MI.
Dunno if'n it's same seller...ebay history is gone now.

Wheels restored by me in '99, sold 'em a few years ago
to a guy in MI.

Sell prices appear to have been on upswing in recent years.
Reality is money is worth less,
so takes more of it to buy stuff than it did a few years ago.

JJ - may I not only suggest that you use grammar and spell checkers, but I would like to also introduce you to a map.

Then again...most U.S. Americans don't have maps.

The map on your iPhone would work. :hrmph:
