If so, what else needs to be altered?

I'm already looking at cylinder-hone to oversize +0.4mm
(apart from some gearbox terrors). So the cylinders will have an overall equil sizing to take the longer stroke.......

Will the stock 1300 flywheel fit, will the crank pulleys fit?

Are you saying that in Humberto's case, where he is already replacing the pistons with 1500's, all he will need to do is purchase 4 connecting rods?

Thanks...

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial]<!-- google_ad_section_start -->Hi there.. the 1500 block is taller to accomodate the longer stroke. The rods are different length as well (also made of forged steel, not cast iron as in 1300's)
The 1500 pistons will work if the block is bored from 86.0 to 86.4mm. Now might be a good time to go to a 1500, if you are looking for more torque.
The way to do this is use a 1500 block assembly (complete) with the 1300 head. Pulleys, flywheel, etc will all bolt up ok... Steve<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

What size would this abomination be anyway... a 1400?

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial]<!-- google_ad_section_start -->Yes, that is a good way to go! Std size 1500 pistons are .4mm bigger than standard 1300's so that should clean up his cylinders. They work just fine with 1300 rods, and also give you increased valve clearance.. if the belt should break, no damage done!!! The displacement increase is VERY small... don't have time for the math, but I'm guessing 1300cc up from 1290cc..
