Are there any North American suppliers that sell a stretch cover like this?

I believe all of the big car cover companies offer it custom fit for the X. You may have to contact them though, because they carry a huge list of applications in their database and can't always list everything in their websites. However they aren't cheap.

As the X and a Miata A series are effectively identical in profile and overall length, you can get a cover for a Miata and it will serve you well.

Also a Honda S2000 car cover works very well too. The mirror pockets even match. The S2000 cover is a little large if you have the targa top stowed.... A former co-worker used to give me her S2000 car covers when she replaced them - yearly.
