Clutch bleeding

I read elsewhere in this forum of a method of bleeding the clutch using an electric pump, a bottle, and pumping bottom up through the slave cyl.
In aircraft, we have been doing something similar to the brakes for years. No electric pump needed, just get a cheap "thumb pump" oil can, fill it with hyd fluid, and pump away.
Perhaps this won't work with the X clutch, because of more pressure needed, or something, but I'll let you know when I try it.

While on the subject of doing things aircraft style, we all know of the X's corrosion issues. One product in heavy use in A/C to prevent it is TFT(Thin Film Technology). The two big players are ACF-50 and Corrosion-X.
This stuffed is fogged into enclosed areas, where it spreads thin enough to penetrate a riveted joint. Just the thing for doors, rocker panels, etc.
I use the ACF-50 brand because the other one has a funky odor.
