10.5 is not too high to run pump gas. Just get used to paying the highest number on the sign at your favorite "brand name" gas station. You will need to run the mixture a little fat and be carefull with the ignition timing, probably backing it off a few degrees. Water temp will have an effect too, so drop a slightly cooler thermostat in.
