Compression
Well the turbo specialist I talked to today just installed and is running a massive turbo on a 10:5 compression Holden and has never had a slip.
I have had no luck with the uno engines as I bought one that was blown and the one I am in discussion with now does not seem to want to be sold to me.
I will buy all new parts, already have high pressure fuel reg, 3.0L fuel pump, charge cooler courtesy of Rachel in England. Oil cooler etc. Looking at a Gt20 turbo that should spool nice and early and be fine on 6lbs. I am taking the clutch next week to get uprated, the pressure plate increased etc.
I will look into all the options and do this engine the best I can, but at the end of the day a professional mechanic is actually building it, so all is well.
The manifold! The turbo specialist actually had a look at it and thought it was tough enough to handle the power, would just need new clamps fabricated and maybe a bit of steel strengthening. Any thoughts?
Anyway, I'll keep you posted.
Thanks all..
