DRAG X19

Something that you may not have seen before. Here is a picture of an X19 at the Volkswagon drags. Running VW gear. Picture is circa early 80's I think.

A few months back a VW nut friend showed me a for sale add on one of his VW forums, it was a drag X19 chassis setup to take some very hot VW running gear. An interesting idea.

I thought it was a little silly until my friend showed me his road registered 2.7 twin turbo Beetle that does 9.7sec 1/4 miles and then I started to think it would be a cool engine to have in an X!
