Dunlop Direzza Tire Report-out

True Classic
Here's a report-out on how the Dunlop Direzza Star Specs worked for us last weekend.

We ran 195/50 size on 7" wheel 25mm offset (with 1.25" spacers)

We used a sport suspension from a parts car and a front sway bar. The car cornered very flat, not SCCA flat, but definitely flatter than stock.

We have all stock suspension / pickup points and factory camber.

We took tire temps and pressures all day. We ended up with warm pressures of 29 back 27 front, or about 26 back 24 front cold. Temps were consistent and descending from inside to out, differential of about 5 degrees in the rear and 10 in the front (just like I like it). I think the max temp was in the 150 degree range (relatively cold), if you're interested I'll dig through my log book.

They held up very well, very sticky and predictable, and we could run another race on them (judging from the tread left).

Turns out the stock fiat suspension is pretty well set up. I see no need to add more camber based on the handling and the temps I saw.
