Fellow Italian Car Aficionados:

You are invited to participate in the Sixth Annual All-Italian Car Show
sponsored by FIAT Enthusiasts Northwest (FEN) on Sunday, April 22nd at the
Issaquah (Washington) XXX Root Beer Drive-In.

We view this as an opportunity to get all of the local Italian car clubs
together at one great venue and to ready our cars for another great year of
fun.

What: The Fiat Enthusiasts Northwest All-Italian Car Show is intended to be a
light-hearted, fun event, for Italian car buffs and their families. All
Italian cars, in any condition from daily driver to concours ready, are
wholeheartedly welcome. Spend an afternoon with fellow Italian car enthusiasts
immersed in automotive indulgence. There will be no white glove inspections,
no examinations for authentic restorations, but simply the enjoyment that
comes from spending quality time with fellow car enthusiasts. NO REPLICAS OR
KIT CARS, PLEASE

When: Sunday, 22nd April 2012. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Show runs
until 3:00 p.m.

Where: Triple X Root Beer Drive-in, 98 NE Gilman Blvd., Issaquah, Washington,
just off I-90 at exit 17, http://www.triplexrootbeer.com.

Cost: Advanced registration $15.00, $20.00 at the door. Spectator admission is
FREE.

Enjoy 50’s music, root beer, and hamburgers at the XXX Root Beer Drive-in, one
of only two remaining XXX Root Beer Drive-ins in the nation. The drive-in’s
interior is filled with automotive memorabilia from the rock and roll era.

Spectators will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite Italian cars
from those on display. A people’s choice award will be issued based on a tally
of votes. The voter’s selection criteria will be left up to the individual
voter’s likes and dislikes of the cars on display.

A portion of the registation fee benefits the Life Enrichment Options program,
a non-profit organization that seeks to foster a community, which fully
engages people with developmental disabilities based on their individual
choices in all areas of community life.

I plan on being there...

Won't be able to pay my admission until Friday, but I should be attending :)

Hopefully more X1/9's will show up...we had quite the showing last year (more than any other model).

I hope it holds...

Unfortunately I won't be there, I'll be on site at a house I designed for another builder for the 2012 South Sound Green Tour. Both weekend days.

Hopefully it leads to more design jobs!

very very RARE footage of this 2012 event shown here.

RARE....because there was not a SINGLE raindrop that fell during the entire day.

Footage capturing the general atmosphere at the event and during some of the awards presentation.

Unfortuanely the X 1/9 row was located in the back paddock. I assume for space consideration ?

Hmm...

Too bad, only one X. Last year I think there were more X's than any other model in the show. Next year I hope!

Thanks for checking it out Les and for the awards vid. :)

Not as many X's, but still a good show

Couldn't have asked for a better day for a car show.

Congratulations to Matthew on the win! :headbang:

Glad my Dad made it up as well, hopefully the Turbo Il Mela Verde will be operational (confidently) for the next show, or at least for OR '12.

3 in show, one pulled in later and one in the parking lot.

My congrats to Matthew for the win as well!

I'm glad I made it there too. Man am I sunburned. :)

I certainly can't wait for Turbo Il Mela Verde to become a reliable driver. It's not there yet. Instead I went to the show in a numbers matching, period correct, original paint 2001 Chevy Cavalier. Oh yeah. :headbang:

Actually....

can you say it has the original paint....didn't the bumper have to be resprayed after the damage was fixed from Mom running it into the garage door?.....and the rear bumper when she backed into my 75 Nova? :brow:
