Fiat 850 seat belts?

So, I was playing with my '71 850 spider this week, and was wondering if I can get any more back seat travel if I removed the stock retractable set belts, and put in the earlier lap belts. I see a few aftermarket lap belts that would work, but not sure if it's worth the effort? I guess I could look for a set of lap belts from a earlier 124 or 850, so I would keep the FIAT logo?

Any advice on this?

I would not use old belts. Granted if you get into an accident with an 850 the belt won’t do you much good but.....a guy in the vintage Landcruiser word sustained serious injury when his belt broke. I always recommend replacing belts and in my racing series we have to replace them every 2 years. Seatbelt planet and others will use your hardware (so you keep the logo) and make new belts. If you just want lap belts you can go that route too
