They rolled this MGB at Thunder Hill.

And put the MGB back together for Sears Pointless:

I got into a "heated discussion" with one of their team members over their bolt into the chassis roll over cage as it failed in several places after they rolled that MGB. Basically, I told them a bolt in cage is not safe enough for LeMons racing.. the team member told me it was fine and installed by "Pro's". Fine, if that MGB rolled or got hit once more during that crash, there would have been serious injuries to the driver based on the number of broken tubing joints and torn sheet metal I observed post crash. Team member walked away pissed off at me for telling them their car was not safe enough for a LeMons racing...

You can build a "crap heap" racer, but ya don't skimp on safety. Racing can be a lethal business and you must do everything possible to lower the risk for your drivers and all other racers on track.

It just really bothered me that this team did not take the safety issues seriously.

When team "Killer Bee" appeared at Sears Pointless... they not only put the car back together.. They had a proper tube diameter, bent, welded in to the chassis & frame roll over cage installed in that MGB..

You know that's an MG, don't you?
