In the Mechanical Technology Department, we are working on obtaining the National Skills
Certification Standard Lathe Grade 2 qualification, and we are proud of the high pass rate every year.
*FY2021 10 people took the exam, 9 passed, 3 received excellence award
The academy provides one general-purpose lathe for each trainee. All graduate students
in the Mechanical Technology Department are challenged to obtain the Level 2 qualification
of the National Skills Proficiency Certification Examination.

Japan industry support excellence in machinist skills and much more.
IMO, majority of YouTube "machinist" content providers would not pass these
certification requirements in Japan.
