FP for injected X question

Hi folks,

I have been having issues with the 86 and its FP. A month or so back it started to whine a tad off and on, then grew louder and louder. I took it out and cleaned it best I could, I also placed an inline filter between the tank and the pump. Put it back together and it quieted down. Well it started to whine again this morning and its pretty loud.

My question is can you rebuild these? This one is only 1 year old new from Matt.

Check filters

Loud pumps usually get that way from either lack of fuel or air on the intake side. Check your filters, and also reverse-flow the pump momentarily to clear anything in it's inlet.

Check for adequate gravity flow from the tank outlet.
