Front stabilizer bar

Hey Now,

I am in the process of replacing the 4 rubber bushings on the front stabilizer bar with the Monte Hospital urethane ones and curious how one replaces the the two front bushings. It appears the bushing are sandwiched between a top and bottom mount that appear to be welded or pressed together around the mounting holes. I am curious if others have just drilled this out and then mounted the two pieces back together without welding it back together. Any advice would be helpful before I drill it out.

Thanks,
Rob

I just did it. I replaced the front and rear swaybar bushings. Drill them out and take the two pieces apart. Then put in the MH bushings and clamp them together in a vice. Then weld them back together. It is very difficult to put them back in the car if you don't weld them back together.
