Is there a good known way for mating this style manifold to a stock FI 1500 cat/muffler that doesn't require significant welding/custom fabbing a downpipe?
Is this a left-exit style muffler? (ala USA '74 X1/9?) Also, knowing the casting number for the manifold might help your sale - it's on the top/center of the #1 runner.

No. Cat systems were always a single front pipe. Dual front pipe on a cat system is a custom fabricated front pipe section, as there is nothing from the parts bins that does this job...that said some standard front wheel drive front pipes from other SOHC powered models are a good basis for the needed pipework, but will require cutting / welding / bends / pipework added
