Fuse Block/Relay Mounting Board for HL/Wiper Mod

The following is how I made the mounting board for the front trunk of my 1978 X.

I started with a 12 x 12 inch sheet of acrylic


I then made a cardboard pattern and used a piece of coat hanger for its profile


Clamped the acrylic between the table and a true piece of oak. Used heat gun to warm acrylic until it would bend
this is where the coat hanger helps

The final shape


Used threaded rivets to mount to car frame
Mounted in place

I originally thought of putting amp(s) there, but then I thought the rear trunk would keep the front trunk free for travel bags. Now you got me seconding guessing my decision. LOL
