I plan on getting either the Haynes or a shop manual while at Vicks tomorrow, if they are open to sales during the open house. Is one preferred over the other?

Factoryshop manual has more detailed info, but haynes has better pice.

I keep a US haynes, and UK haynes (hardcover), a FSM, and a Chiltons on hand for the best and most varied info and pics. I belive with careful shopping, I paid less than $50 for all 4 on EvilBay.

Some versions of the Haynes have some fairly evil typos.... Wrong torque settings, wrong valve clearances. But the Haynes is way more friendly for the non-pro. I have both, but if I could only have one, I'd go for the shop manual, depend on xweb for help when the manual is unclear.
