Head Gasket??

So I just received my new head gasket (old one leaked) and noticed its not exactly the same as the old one....

I have a 1983 Fiat X1/9 so that would mean I have a 1500 correct?

The first picture is the old gasket:



 
The next one is for the correct size 1500 engine I bought off of midwest



As you can see with this.... the top larger holes are slightly different then the originals.... Does it matter?? Was the original one even the correct head gasket for my engine??
